What I did last night was a really bad touchup job on the paint on the 40 gallon. I did the original painting in 1995, no idea exactly what colors I mixed and it was midnight by the time I really got started. What I did today was get my helper to assist me in getting it on the stand, put water and fish in it. (those BA Tetras basically got a 50% water change as I put 20 gallons of their water in, and there is a sand area for the corydoras to go in later. When I get enough plants in, the spots with the wrong shade of blue will be hidden. It will be undergravel filtered but for now, the sponge and corner filter are cultured from being in the 29 quarantine with the tetras.
Also walked and fed and tended dogs, put a pond back together and took finished pictures. We applied a sealant that will help it stay clean. It's invisible.
