They are in a 60l tank. Yeah their parents won't let them get anymore fish because they have to buy them with their own money, and they don't have any.
They did cycle their tank under my close instruction.

They don't really think about why their fish die, so when I have them I will take a really close look at them!

Yes if they are having issues and so are you and both of you live close to eachother, it may not be what YOU are doing but what your water company is doing

No not at all. Some things can't be tested at home.

Great! You may be able to find a water test kit (not an API or other aquarium test) at your hardware store (maybe like Lowes or Home Depot).
This has other parameters that aquarium tests don't test for. Now if your water company's site is really honest and transparent they will list the complete water readouts without trying to hide anything.
There could be many things at play when it comes to fish dying. Some are simple and some are really tricky to figure out.
Hopefully your water treatment facility will be completely upfront with you.

I was able to go to our place of worship and help clean up the leaves in the grass spaces. Really nice.
And best of all, I got to finally talk to one of my "friends" without my little brother around which was nice...
I mean we didn't talk about anything too exciting but still nice to just be separated from my brother for a few...
