What are my lady Pearl gourami’s doin?

Soooooo I’m gonna assume this isn’t what it looks like which is a lesbian square dance trying and failing to get a Christmas smooch.

These are the only two gourami in the tank, both female.

I’m assuming it’s a dominance thing. Usually the female with the bent feelers is the more aggressive (nothing much. Much a few nips here and there but nothing concerning) one in general so I’m kinda shocked to see the other one “fighting back” for the first time in six months.

I know it’s a normal thing but it’s just a bit ridiculous especially when they’re twirling around and everyone else is behaving like normal
