Dude, where's my rain? <-- is what I'm asking here too. But at least the temp went down a bit.

It finally is back down in the 90s during the day and low 70 at night
It varies between 82.4 and 90 here. My poor swordies... at least they've survived the worst heat of like 94+.

My PK male bettas in my 5g with out the heater on has survived luckily when it hit 107 the first time before my dad used the AC..I actually had to keep their light off on their tank and in my room trying to keep the heat down

Good thing it didn't hit 107 here. If I turn the light off, my plants would probably rot.
I have a cooler and a fan in the house, but they're not good enough to lower temp much.
I even resorted to ice and dumped huge ice cubes in the tank, but it only lowered it very little. Even the tap water wasn't cold enough.
I don't even use a heater here, my swordies seem to be used to both low temps and high temps, as long as the changes aren't sudden. During winter, the house is heated pretty well. It's the cooling that gives me trouble, no AC and my mother won't try AC, she's too scared.

Me to I have a harder time heating a tank In the winter than the summer during the summer I actually turn my heaters down to like almost 69 when we're not using the AC cus it has been gettin so hot here but during the winter I'm starting to have to use a little space heater to heat my room up to 70 just to keep my tanks at regular temperature with the heaters on

It has been gorgeous here since Saturday!

Unfortunately, when we went to the beach on Sunday, I forgot to reapply sunscreen to my feet after I'd been in the sea, and now I have sunburn :shout:

There was a storm last night, shook my cottage outright. Tree branches and random debris went flying and my windows were vibrating...
Freaking noise! Couldn't sleep till like 5 AM.

Today, it's a bit cooler, but still too warm for my liking. I wanted rain, darn it!

I am SO tired of everyone in the UK talking about the fabulous weather. As per usual there is a big, dark and WET cloud hovering over Cumbria! ARGH!

Today it's too hot. TOO #138## HOT. My scottish genes are not equipped for this heat. And I'm not getting anything done because of it
