i don't spend long watchin my tank as Tank is next to computer so i see it everytime i move lol so no need to sit as watch i see it every few mins

Plus my Girlfirends tank is other side of computer so i see a tank no matter what i do

when new fish are added or fry are seen - it can be hours...

we have a plec tank at eh end of our bed, with a moor light - I've fallen asleep may times the wrong way round in the bed watching them :)

I've often wasted away several hours in front of a fish tank. I've just recently returned to the hobby after about a year away, and my new 125 is set up at the foot of my bed, so I imagine I'll spend many more hours drifting away. It's just so therapeutic, sitting calmly not thinking about anything... If everyone had a fishtank, the world would be a better place! :D

i don't even want to think about it. I watch my bettas a lot more than my main tank, because theyre so funny!

Way way way more than two hours, and it's very healthy indeed.

Recent research has shown that watching an aquarium reduces stress, heart rate and blood pressure.

It also induces the brain to produce alpha waves that again reduce stress levels and speed healing.

I tend to watch the fish when there's nothing on telly, or when I'm thinking, drawing, painting or working at home.

Thats enough for me, ordering heaven to hell next month, great biroart :D

Certainly reduces stress, as stroking cats and dogs has been proved, watching a healthy aquarium has also been shown to reduce stress.
