He could also be a mix of VT and a shorter tailed Betta, I suppose, although I am not an expert on that. There are some who seem to have experimented with mixing tail typse with VTs that would know.

Cute boy, love his coloring. And I agree he looks like a young vt, possibly round/spade tail. But a cutie no matter what!

I thought that was only if the long fin was a crowntail, I've never heard of say a halfmoon x plakat creating combtails, but I could be wrong.

HM/PK would come up with some odd combination, 2 offspring would spawn and get half long half short, 2 shorts spawn = HMPK's.
