 I just bought a veil tail betta and I noticed it has two tails. I haven't found any pictures of a veil tail betta with two tails like mine. Can anyone tell me if this is a natural occurrence or not?

It's uncommon, but not unseen :) I believe one of our other members has a double tailed VT, more than likely there was a double tail somewhere in his lineage. Nice find!!

Check to see if the betta's dorsal fin is normal sized. If it is, the tail is probably just torn. However, if it is twice the width of a normal veiltail, with twice the number of rays, it is a double tail. Each tail will look like it has a lot of rays too, as the amount usually in one is in each. Literally two tails!

i say o well veil tails in my mind are the prettiest ones... *wishes it was white and not blue though* neways nicejob on getting the veil to begin with just if its picky dont let it get the best of u lol
