Urgent help with Labrador refusing to eat.

Hi everyone, thankyou all for the kind thoughts.

The vet called on monday morning first thing, flora had survived the night but was in great pain and so they put her to sleep that morning, obviously this news as I am sure you can imagine is devastating for us. Our springer still pads around the house looking for her and rarely a moment goes by when something doesn't remind us of her.

I am sorry I have not replied sooner but I have been struck down with a really bad case of flu, and only today am I able to open my eyes without a splitting headache. I still can't believe that I won't ever see her again.
Awwww....so sorry to hear that William. Hugs to you and your family. It's so rough to lose a critter. I know what you're going through. It's so hard to accept and deal with and sometimes you wish, more than anything, that you could see the critter again. I understand. My sympathies, thoughts, prayers, etc. are with you. Again, many hugs to you all (if you'd like them) and shoulders (I can only offer two of them...that's all I have) to cry on.

We're here if you want to talk (uh, write) more.

Will,

Its true i dont believe in religion, but i prayed for your dog. My first time. But at least shes out of her pain. Keep strong Will, we're all by your side. Take a break and dont pressure yourself. I didnt post before this because i simply didnt know what to type. But now I just felt i HAD to write something. You did your best. We're in the hands of fate. That's all i have to say. For once, I'll use my real name.

Deepest regards,
