Ok ok... I'm gonna say it... Flowerhorns are ugly.

I think that's a bit harsh - they aren't my sort of fish, but <thinks > - actually you are right.

Don't agree with this one, might be able to see it if they looked like it in the wild, but since we made them that way I'm gonna have to say humans are ugly

There are a couple of understated common tetras that when kept well are real stunners. I had a school of Lemon Tetras and they are still one of my wifes favourite fish and I see why

An other unpopular opinion from me! I like aquarium soil more than sand... I'm using Tropica Aquarium Soil and Soil Powder at the moment and I think it looks better than cosmetic sand and was easier to get set up. I know people say eventually it will run out of nutrients but at that point I can swap out to root tabs same as sand.

I would LOVE a pond . . .

Niblet would love a pond SNAIL, or 20.
The Assassins and Niblet and I did such a good job getting rid of the "pest" snails it's rare to find one. I used to have a 2.5g snail bubbler bucket, those were the days.

I thought so too until I filled my entire 55G with them. Now all I get is “wow!” On that tank.
