“If you do it right”

*No one every does it right*
One of my old friends had a single tank with a sponge filter. Then 4 more without one at all. I think I've seen Byron talk about this as well.

The easiest way to do it is with shrimp. But it can be done with fish too.

I think they are all hideous. I could never get one. Apparently a lot of the globettas have issues with their eyes too. Some even lack them entirely or so I've heard.

Years ago, I bought a white skirt tetra along with 3 glofish skirt tetra. The white skirt tetra grew bigger and lived a lot longer than the glofish tetra so regular tetras are healthier than glofish tetra in my opinion.

@PheonixKingZ Shhhhh my snails count :p

But yeah gotta keep the bioload pretty light and have a heck ton of plants.

Fish suited for still water are really good choices for these set ups (bettas especially)

Having the right plants is good too. Anacharis and hornwort, lots of floaters... basically you want fast growing nutrient machines.

Snails don’t count!

I have heard and seen that. I once saw a completely blind one at PetCo. I so wanted to rescue it, but it was $30. :(
You could have offered to pay $10 forit and they may have accepted that, considering the condition of the fish. The word of the day is "negotiate."
