feather fin rainbows

Wow! Those are some beautiful rainbows!! WOW!! Very beautiful!! Bet they cost a pretty penny eh? You probably know this...but i wouldn't put them in with any fin nippers...kinda ruin their pertty gorgeous fins they got there! They are just stunning! Awesome fish!

Iriatherina werneri or threadfin filament Rainbows are by no means an unknown fish, uncommon yes. I use to keep two a while back and I am pretty sure I have seen I few in sigs, maybe if Monty has some in I will purchase a few.

Thanks I will check it out. :)

Actually they were only £1.00 each.
they are in with the rest of the fish in my sig.
that includes 2 bettas loose inn teh tank adn they are fine. they love shoaling with the neons and will happily play in the current from the filter outlet.

I got them from R+S in Pool Meadow in Coventry.

Good find mate. :)

Good Luck with them.

well...being in the states i have no idea what a frank or pound is compared to our dollar system....but i'm assuming not too bad. Kewl though! Glad you are happy with your purchase!

I got some of these from Monty last year, still going strong. I saw some in one of my LFS at various times but they have never been as good quality as those from Monty.

This pic was taken in May last year, they were quite difficult to photo as they never stay still.

Cheers, Eddie
