okay cool, and ye you told me when we met, that the lilly pipe design was naff and that a fan design would be better, for example pinching the end of a hose pipe?

Oh to get more flow I see, no I solved that by making the pipes the same size as the hose, normally inlets have a smaller point that the hose goes on which then gets wider by the time it gets in the tank, mine stay the same size right through, I noticed an increase in flow straight away due to this and the fact the water doesn't have to travel round 3 x 90 degree bends now.

Little update, more substrate added on left and right sides and some Anubias petite added to the wood on the left, also a picture of one of the new Goby's.

what kind of goby is that? i thought they had ti be in brackish water?

Its a Peacock Goby, they can adapt to either brackish or freshwater, these were in fresh when I bough them so they went straight in.

I thought the peacock goby is mainly freshwater.

Lol thanks guys, here's a pic of the new lighting unit, still got to polish the bars and I'm waiting on some nice curved brackets to be made up by a chippy friend. So here's the pics, excuse the dirty look, like I say still to be polished up and testing for LED cooling also taken on iPhone.

very nice loving how it looks, be interesting to see how the plants take to the extra light, you needing to put in extra co2 or ferts because of the extra growth the plants will do?

Well so far Zik everything in the tank inc moss and Anubias is pearling like mad tonight, there is oxygen bubbles everywhere lol, some leaves even have a constant stream of O2 coming from them.
