I've had the same rattle with my U3. I sent the first one back, and the replacement made the same noise. After about 6-8 weeks it ran silent, but as soon as I have to take it out of the water for a proper clean, the noise will return. I can only narrow it down to trapped air, but no matter how much I turn it upside down or shake, it won't go. It will only disappear over a long time. It's very frustrating and it seems it happens with quite a few of these!
