any comments, good or bad are welcome.

Looks awesome :) Really nicely placed plants :)

thanks Wills, it took me all day to sort out. Loving the Melanotaenia Praecox, would recommend them to anyone.

Looks good, I like the plant on the far right :)

I think the left side looks great, a nice balance but the right is missing something :p

Your tank looks great! I love the background and the substrate. The small simple rocks are great. I never have luck with proper rock placement but this looks great. I love the subsrate. Everything goes great together!

thanks for the comments guys, i'm gonna have a go at a moss path coming from the rocks at some point. Si, its an island scape, i was seeing if i could get away with it in a corner tank, theres not mean't to be much going on, on the right side of the tank, as it would take your eye off the main scape. Its really hard to scape a corner as everything is sooo central, so i have gone for the golden rule with the island, it does need to grow out a bit.

In the process of sorting my stock out and getting the new tank I am going to swap my turquoise rainbows for dwarf neons. I cant see the point in letting the turqs take up so much room in a tank when the tank isnt centered around them. It also means an other sev for me

For your tank I would be tempted to totally separate the two plaint areas so one section in the back corner and then planting around the tiger lotus in the corner.

Wills

i did think about that wills, but i would be creating 2 center peices, and i'm not sure it'd work?

another Sev eh Wills! :good: and yeah go for the dwarf neons, they look really good in a large school. I'm thinking of upping the numbers a bit.

I have added a Riccia pathway added through the of centered bit on the ground, it looks really effective already. I'm really enjoying this scape.

Looks a lovely tank layout and I love the fish stocking.

I recently got two Windlov plants on two seperate sections of bogwood and they really are very leftfield plants, its like two different leaves have been stuck together!

They are looking a lot happier now they are in the Rio240, with the better lighting; CO[sub]2 [/sub]and daily ferts.

thanks for the comments guys.
