I am getting a BN pleco today and maybe some other fish, undecided. I’m going to move my garras and danios to my new 160l its second hand and has been recently used. How should I move them(with a jug or should I buy something else to move them?) I am going to by safe start and some new food any recommendations for food especially for the garras as there won’t be loads of algae to start with in the tank?

A jug or small bucket is always safe to move them so their fins can not get stuck in a net.
Garra species love almost everything from what I've noticed. So that will give you a broad way of choice what to feed them. At least, that's my own experience with the Garra rufas and Garra pandas I've kept.

I wish mine loved everything they used to eat algae and loved it but now have just bought a 180l tank and one got killed/ sucked into the filter.😢 And as the new tank has little algae on it I have tried feeding it algae wafers it might not want it because of the change in environment but in the end I’m sure he will be fine. I moved the danios and garras with a net but with my Bolivian rams and BN I’ll try it with a jug. Thanks for the help.
