I wanted to state something along those lines, but was too frustrated with work to conjure a coherant though so my original post here was just a

If you can't understand what I mean, here is a logical breakdown.

I responded to a post I found offensive. (bettas in cups)
You responded to a post you found offensive. (my post)
I respond inconsiderately (my apology)
You respond inconsiderately (name calling)


It would be nice to delete this post wouldn't it. Wipe your mouth. Erase your past.

But it doesn't work in real life pals. I just went through a nasty simultaneous break up with my g/f. You can't just forget. Heh. True, your comments were well founded. Although at no time did I ever diss your forum. (the one time was deleted, remember, oh no, wait, we can't forget in here can't we...) I probly would have said the same things as you guys. But just remember, nobody is perfect.

I'm sorry for being angry at mrV. He's probly quite a good guy, I was honored at what he said about Canadians being polite.

I'm sorry for being angry at William, for deleting my post. Hes just a kid yet. Making mature decisions like that to do his job as a mod are admirable.

I'm sorry to anyone and everyone i've offended. I didn't intend to hurt anybody, but I seem to be good at it.

People will be people, they will make mistakes, they will pay dearly. Some will suffer, while others prosper. And all the while they will be blind to the gift that life is. I've come to realise recently that life is a very beautiful and precious thing, and we can't waste it on trifles like this.

Tanked, you're a great guy man. Steve-0, i'm glad that someone stood up for me. We're all in this together. Truth is, I don't want to leave. Who knows if i'll be here or not. I can't say. But we'd best not bicker with eachother.

first off i would like to apologize for my flamboyan outbirst.
the reason i got mad was due to the fact that a lot of people here get pissed off whenn they go to a petstore and see lots of betas in tiny cups.

fact is they are a very popular fish.....the people at the store are not being inhumaine on purpose .....they do it to make money......they would not buy so many if they could not sell them.....if they cant sell them they cant make money....
and before you make your comment take a second to think...
When you go to the store you see the bettas in a cup....you feel sorry for them
A month later you go back in and see some more there.. But you are failing to see that these are not the same ones. Bettas are only in the store for at most a month.
anymore and they would die in the cup.....bringing back the money issue...if they die cant make money off them so just order enough so we can sell them before they die...

I am deeply sorry for my immature outbirst earlier.......

and another thing there are some people here who like to tag along with other people..what i mean is when someone is informed on a topic there willl always be anohter person reply right after with something to add on....even though they have no advice or info on the subject.

i agree with hoodude about deeting this post.....if you just get rid of it it makes you look pretty low..........you had a conflict couldnt cope so you got rid of it.
You dont have an argument with a family member.....then kill them and dispose of the body because you didnt agree wiht them......

I really respect a lot of the members here and i can point them out in this topic just by there responses. But then there are others who just want to tag along and throw some insults in to have the last word.

Now my friends that was a sincere appology. hopefully some others here will acknowlede it as such. I'd like to see both of you guys stay as I enjoy reading your posts (when they are fish related) and would love to see some more pics of steve-o's backyard (so to speak).

I can't speak for all the members here as I am just a single person who has prbably annoyed the mods and william to no ends (sorry guys, I get a bit over zealous when I find something new that I really enjoy, but do mellow out over time) but I appreciate the fact that you have come back and made peace, at least on your end. It shows that you are mature people that had a bad time. which IMHO is simply human nature. anyways, welcome back

In Canada that is called backstabbing. I don't think it's very honorable in any country. I applaud your valiant effort kevin, backstabbing for... what pupose was it again? If I got to be known as untrustworthy i'd want my record cleaned too. It just doesn't make a person look very credible.

Kevin, you know very well that you pm'd me asking for the site. Then you made a big show of telling everyone where I was going to go.

Adoptable kids can go pretty fast too, lets lock them in a closet since they will only be there for less than a month. If you think about it, they will be happy when they get out.

The comment they are not being inhumane on purpose, they are doing it to make money is very funny. I guess money makes it right. Justifyin something because of greed is no justification at all. It is industrial and cold.

I have seen plenty of bettas and maybe they are sold every month, but half of them sure look like pretty bad off when I see them. Maybe I am used to seeing fish swimming around, not shackled in a spot that is smaller than a prison cell without the option to even get out of the cup at any time. But like you said only for less than a month, usually. I am sure I could take being stuck in a closet for that time with no problem at all. In fact, it sounds kind of fun. Just pack me in there and refill my air once a day and I'll be that much happier when I get out.

Besides that happy thought, I think Steve-O and HooDude should do what they want. If they want to leave, it really would be their loss. I know none of you on this forum, but this is the fishforum I always come to because it is simply good and you get enough replies if you want them. To say people on here are in their own little groups is laughable. Maybe there is a group of normal people here that don't like the way you think, but that is not their fault they think in the majority. And that seemed to be on only one subject. People that can't debate or take even constructive criticism have a very sad wall that is put up because they know their faults and despite how they may appear on the outside, are very different on the inside. I say let down the wall and take some info in. You don't have to use it, but you don't need to come back with attacks either.

I have learned a lot from this forum and it has helped me so far in my fishkeeping activity and it is simply a truth that this is a good fish forum in comparison to others. I like the "My Assistant" feature quite a bit. This forum on top of being informative is also a step above any other fish forum I have been on due to being user friendly.

To say this forum is bad, uninformative, unhelpful and an overall mean forum is too see through clouded eyes. But don't worry, you can fix that. They even have stuff for fish that have cloudy eyes too. Who knows, all you may need is a tissue?
