Here’s my latest! I’ve been practicing coloring and shading since I’ve never been good at it, and gotta Say while it’s slow going it does spark joy!

Does anyone know of a good tutorial on how to color/shade scales? Fish scales, dragon scales, whatever.

My own research is returning procreate scale brushes which… I’ve already drawn the scales I just need to figure out how to actually color them and wanna know if there’s a way outside shading each scale individually

Depends what genre your going for..
I don’t know about the main colour but I think a golden colour would be good for the lines!

Looks fantastic! I agree with the golden lines, although personally I would do a blue-gray for the main color and maybe some black and electric blue for contrast...

Well done I find faces so difficult to sketch, getting the proportions right is something that takes many years to master. Keep it up!
