OMG! I hate all bugs(even butterflys). They just creep me out. Once I went to FL and they had 90000000000000000000000000 Love bugs!!!!!! GROSS

Yeah as said we have lots of spiders but none that can do any damage to you. About the only native thing we have that has a venom that can hurt are Adders which I believe are an endangered species now (I have only ever seen 1 in my life). Even these are never likely to do any serious damage.

The US has got some poisoness ones, but death is extreamly rare. Its usually a bad reaction to the venom that'll do you in. If your not illurgic to it all you'll get is alot of pain, and one nasty looking wound. Austrilia on the other hand is notorious for haveing a number of dangerous critters.

Not true at all guppy. We have one of the most poisonous snakes in the world. The Coral Snake makes a powerful nuero toxin that if you don't get medical attention, you have basically a zero percent chance of surving, thankfully they are super reluctant to bite or attack anything. ALso a good majority of the rattlesnakes can and will kill you without treatment.

THe only snakes that will likely only cause pain are the copperheads, and cotton mouths have a potential to be deadly.

i lived in cincinnatti during one of those big cicada booms and it was awful. granted i was very little at the time, but they were everywhere. you couldn't walk or drive or anything without stepping on them. to this day i won't kill a large insect because of the "crunch"
