Rules are rules, and also just think how you have helped others

After all, that could have been anytime during the year and not made for the competition

Not that I encourage it, but do you know how to photo-shop?

However, the good news is you get to cook it again

Yes I always stick a YPOTM TFF notice on all my cooking - it's a problem I've had for years! lol
Why are you whispering? No I don't know how to photo-shop - you're not suggesting I cheat are you

Of course not :)

Lol @ Mamashack, to be fair I would probably just label all your meals and take photos from now on - just in case ;)

Was just trying to go by the rules of the competitions as I understand them, however, as this is a NEW competition and there is likely to be some learning curves, I reckon we could ask the members if they think we should allow Mamashack's entry?
yes.gif

Out now to feed 200+, back later.

200+!?!
You've got me interested now.

I do not think Mamashacks entry should be allowed. It is a clear violation of the YPOTM.
Wall street defines YPTOM entry rules as:

A YPOTM entry must abide by the following rules if the entry is to be entered in the competition:
1. Must have date on verification
2. Must have YPTOM on the verification
3. Must have members' name on the verification.

:p

hahaha you crease me up TT! Just cos you ate your evidence!!! lol

Ha, we thought we always interested you ;)  All Homemade, today's menu was Vegetable Soup with Crusty Bread, Mediterranean Chicken or Homity Pie with Herbie Potatoes, Carrots and Peas, followed by Apple and Mincemeat Crumble with Custard - it was yummy

Plus there was the usual homemade scones, cakes, tea and coffee.

OK, so now we have a dilemma, what to do with Shelster's entry?  It clearly violates Rule #2, stating "Toad of the Month".

I agree with Mamashack, that you ate your evidence and at least Mamashack and Shelster have attempted to abide by the rules, and as this is the initial competition we can allow for a slight mistake, can't we?  Anyone else out there care to comment

What has happened to eagles....?

Probably trying to make a decent Yorkshire pud! lol

That menu sounds better than anything I had today! lol

Without rules, the Yorkshire pudding society would fall into chaos.
Without our principles we would be nothing.
However, we do not want to chase off the longest ants from the competition. So therefore, the rules may be 'bent' slightly so as to allow entries.

First time I have ever made batter, let alone Toad in the Hole

I would say its and epic win

Tray with 4 'sausages' in it are the fake ones for the fussy vegetarian in the family. The others were yummy cumberland sausages. Batter had sweetcorn and lotsof paprika in it. Also made my own gravey (not bisto or anything LOL), carrots and savoy cabbage, mashed mix of normal and sweet potato and of course, some lovely Merlot. Omnomnomnomnom!

We are now all studiously ignoring the washing up

Yummy!

Sweet corn in the batter? Hmmm never thought of that before, normally just do onions and mustard. Maybe try it next week :D
