Well guys and gals, I have sadly not had time to visit this post again until now and to be honest you all crack me up

 
I thought I cannot comment on all the posts as it would just be a re-run of everything said, but I want you all to know that everyone has made me laugh, and I liked the puns TT and Mamashack.  So thanks, it was a great start to this morning...so just a few comments...

I think photos to judge the winner would be a rubbish idea

Instead, I'd like to volunteer as a taste tester, subject to flights being funded by TFF of course

I have toad in the hole (frog in the bog) once a week

it comes out of the oven having risen like a beast!

I add mustard powder to mine, I shall post a pic when I next do one.

Ok here's my entry from start to plate.

Sausages and onions getting there.....

Covered in the batter:

All cooked and ready for serving:

It's a beast lol

Served with port gravy, potato and parsnip mash, broccoli and carrots ( ooh and I love mint sauce - yep I'm odd lol)

I also won't be eating all weekend!

Port Gravy - that is a little posh, but sounds like I might try it, how much goes in the cook and how much in the gravy?
 
Mint Sauce - that is a little odd, personally I prefer Horseradish Sauce on the Yorkshire Pudding Mix.
 
So come on guys, where is your evidence, Shelster has laid down the gauntlet for April.

  After all, that could have been anytime during the year and not made for the competition
