Welcome to the Hambone Hey Lovelies thread!

Thanx, we sure will. My 10 year old son & my 70+ father will be there too! We're going to a couple of fish stores in the mornin' and then we're just hanging out for the day. Three generations of me................ I just can't talk politics with him whatever I do.

it's bound to happen.. I swear my mama tries to tick me off with her political nonsense..

My father loves to argue, it's what old folks do best. He sets the trap & I take the bait everytime

Let's see, today I gots to do a couple of water changes on the 20 gallon tanks. I already mowed the lawn. I wanna change the water that I have driftwood soaking in. I'd like to watch some Nascar with the fish..........there's 2 good fights on tonight and I have a case of cold ones!

.........or I could just take a nice nap.

Oh who's fighting tonight? No Saturday night cocktails for me  My hubby is on Staff duty { 24 hour shift till 6 am} Which kinda ruins his Father's day since he'll be tired all day. Stupid army.

I thank you and your family for the sacrifices y'all are making..

9 Year, 7 Months, and 2 weeks in The United States Navy.. Not that I was counting..

minnnt suggested I put mine in the back of the toilet. Works wonders! My woods already half sunk! :hyper:

Hey Lovelies!
I'm getting ready for the weekly large water change. I still wish I had a bucket instead of that jumbo bottle though... -.- Too scary to lift without expecting the plastic handle to just snap and the floor to be soaked. But not like my dad understands the danger of it...

Hey Lovelies!
Happy Fathers day to all the Daddies!
Hubby is milking it for all it's worth but he ain't my daddy!

Hey Lovelies!
I forgot to say, Happy Father's Day.

I did the big water change. But not only did the gunk flew all over the place when I stirred up the sand (and it's still floating), but I just netted out all the fish poop... only for it to be back in place immediately. Them swordies are pooping machines. Good thing they also clean it up themselves.

Hey Lovelies!!!

My wife is the best.. She went out shopping and I gets a phone call last night saying "she got me somethang I hasn't had in a long time" fer Father's day..

So lil back story: I luzz going to Amsterdam.. I've been there like five times.. I had my bachelor party there back in 07.. Hasn't been to the dam since 09, they has The Van Gough Museum, they has fantastic architecture, they has canals and bridges, they has FEBO, they has juicebars and other thangs.. Well they also has stroopwaffels..

Last time I went to Amsterdam back in 09, my wife and I spent darn near two weeks there, I almost died in a field due to hypothermia, it was a blast... well I brought home like twenty pounds of Stroopwaffels.. that's like half a kilo for our british and Romanian friends..

They lasted me a few months..

well my wife got me seven lil packages of "Carmel Waffels" made by the same company who makes the Stroopwaffels..

My wife hooked me up yo.. Already ate one package last night.. It brought me right back to the dam.. repseck..

Half a kilo of those doesn't sound much though. But I wonder what they taste like.
And why the hypothermia? Swam in a lake / river?

My wife and I did a guided bicycle tour north of Amsterdam.. We went a few hours north of the city and somebody got a flat.. it took aboot an hour to change, I was under dressed for the occasion.. I was wearing a Boston Bruins Jersey, a t shirt under that and shorts.. We were right on the north sea, aboot a quarter mile (3 kilometers for our british and Romanian friends) inland, in the middle of a field and the wind was blowing a steady 35 miles an hour sustained..

I took matters into my own hands (figuratively, not literally) and saved my own life.. Sometimes you do what you has to do...

Hey Lovelies!!!

Great success at Fairway Beef today!!!

I got an 18 pound plus roast cut into 1.5 inch steaks for 7.29 a pound..

Seventy cents off a pound to has them cut them into thicker steaks.. I'll take that..

Also got 2.1 pound of flank steaks for 6.99 a pound, five pounds of Kayem natural casing hot dogs and some summer squarsh..

18 POUNDS?!?

Respeck........... :good:

Hey Lovelies!

The walk in the park with the neighbors and my mom went better than expected. No bikers! o_O
However, I came home and found Tzuppy searching for the filter fry. I noticed that the fry is no longer there and Eris looks kind of plump... -_- Looks like I'm down to 2 fry (which came out for food after I spread the flakes on the surface).

Look like EReis made her own Father's Day meal of your fry..............

Boxing -

Chavez Jr. vs. Lee

Adamek vs. Chambers

Chavez & Adamek won, good fights.

I wanna change the water that I have driftwood soaking in.

Yeah I heard that idea but the 2 pieces I found in my creek were way too big to fit in the terlot.
