Enjoy this part of your life... They say youth is wasted on the young. It's not true... But the young don't always realize how good they really have it. Of course, I've got it pretty good too. Point is, take the time to "smell the roses", as they say. Count your blessings and reflect on these things daily.

Hey Lovelies!  Bit of a heat spell here at 92 degrees today, which would be fine BUT I just dumped loads of expensive grass seed, topsoil & wheat straw into my lawn.  Figures it's not expected to rain for the foreseeable future either.......... so the last few days I've been lightly watering the seedlings.
 
I'm planning to re scape my 36 gallon tonight when I do a water change.  Busy evening ahead............

Hey Rus... save the water from the water change and use it on the grass seedlings!

I always pour out my 5 gallons buckets on the front grass.  Works like a charm!

I drain my tank directly to my impatiens in front of the house.... LOTS of complements.

Camping was a great success.. Had an absolute blast with the wife and kid..
 
Each trip we take gets better and better..
 
I has some guppies that are starting to show amazing color.. I will post pics when the color is in full bloom..

Hey Lovelies!

Had a tough weekend as a friend had a motorcycle accident. He's going to be back up and kicking in about 6 months or so. Guess he hit a bump/pothole and lost his rear tire. THEN got hit by a car. He's damn lucky to be alive!

Fish tanks are back on track and have been for a few days now! I'm really glad about that! Waiting on my first possiblle batch of guppy fry from my breeding project too!

The sun is shining...birds are singing. It's a beautiful Monday morning. Hope you all have a great day!

I has noticed a disturbing trend.. First a lil back story: I luzz buying American made products.. I buy American except for cars.. Cars, I buy German and Japanese..
 
Which brings me to my issue..
 
when I was in Amsterdam I bought a Bic lighter that was made in France..
 
I was at the pharmacy over the weekend and bought two five packs of lighters (Bic), all made in France.. Not a single pack of lighters was made in The USA..
 
I bought a lighter last week to replace the Dutch Bic I bought, made in France..
 
I hope that Bics are still made in The USA.. I did some digging last night, and could find no info on a possible plant shutdown in Connecticut..

Yep it is.  It's dark blue and I usually remove the stickers but for some unknown reason I didn't this time..............it's like you knew or something!
