My Pens lost to your Broons, again.  I can't understand it, what a great game that was anyway, lots of shots on goal and some serious checking.  Playoff Hockey at it's best.  If the Penguins lose to the Bruins I'll have to pull for them to go all the way.  I've always been a big Jamir Nagr fans anyway and he's pushing 41 years old!  More power to him............

Thanks Rusk.. I has 75 dollars in warious bets aboot the broons winning the series.. Friday night... I hope they end it and get some more rest.. Its scary how good the broons are when they get their legs going.. Dont care for jaggs.. He is 6-5 version of sergie samsanov.. I think he played for the canes at some point.

 
He played for the Rangers & the Penguins back in the day...............unbelievable scoring machine when he was on game.
 


I was talking aboot Samsonov being a former cane.. Samsonov was a Bruin back in the late 90's early 2000's..

C'mon now, Jagr was controlling the puck a lot & his name was called multiple times by the announcers.  He's 41 years old & still playing at the top level.  You have to give credit where credit is due.
 
Hey Lovelies!  It looks like I'm picking up 5 heaters, (3) 50 watt & (2) 100 watt and some brand new river rock gravel, (3) 54 lb. bags.........all FREE!  You just have to love the internet............and fish forums like this one.  My father could use one of the 100 watt heaters in his 29 gallon and the others I'll just keep as back ups.

Not at all bro, in fact I'm anti hoarder all the way!  If I have it for more than a year & I haven't used it it goes, even if I give it away.
 
(2) of the 50 watts heaters will be going in (2) of my 10 gallons that I'm trying to sell on craigslist.  That combined with the free river rock substrate will make these 10 gallon tanks complete setups.  Remember, (1) 100 watt heater is going to my father's house so I'll only be saving (1) 100 watt & (1) 50 watt as backups for the (5) tanks I'm running.  More common sense than hoarding.

Oh, and there were (7)( brand new 5 lb. bags of the river rock, which my father also likes, so he'll be getting about half of those when I see him next weekend for Father's Day.  The box also had some cool lava rock pieces of various sizes, some fake plants, a magnetic algae cleaner thing also still in packaging & a little pagoda thing that I will sell along with the 10 gallon setups.

Hey Eagles, does lava rock raise or lower pH?  I know coral will raise it & driftwood will lower it, but I'm not sure about lava rock.

It shouldn't affect it, but if you have it already - throw it into a bucket of dechlorinated water - come back a week later and test the pH.  Should verify things for you pretty well.

My SW tank is cycled!! Think I'm gonna go get a pair of firefish today or tomorrow and maybe a few things for the cuc such as snails or something.

I can't wait to see what you end up with MoF, please post pics (or it didn't happen.....lol)  The Firefish Goby is one of my favorite marine fish after the Clowns & Yellow Tangs.
 
Hey Lovelies!  I just finished cleaning the (5) old heaters, cleaned the (2) 10 gallon tanks, rinsed the substrate and loaded 1½ bags into each tank.  They're looking better already!  I'll cut the backgrounds in a bit, after a beer break.  It is Saturday after all............
 
BTW, the heaters are all Rena brand "top light" whatever that means.  They look to be in great condition too.  I'm going to test them out later today.  I'm also going to keep checking that forum as well as craigslist for cheap light fixtures and hoods or glass tops.
