I'm 2/3 in getting a yes so it's not end of the world I guess. Wikipedia defines friend zone as a platonic relationship where one person wishes to enter the next step of the relationship while the other does not, or would prefer to just stay 'friends'. Oh well, this is a moment for my favorite quote:

You have to take the good with the bad, smile when you're sad, love what you've got and remember what you had.... Always forgive but never forget, learn from your mistakes but never regret, people change, things go wrong, just remember... LIFE GOES ON.

Hey Lovelies!!!

Busy day today in The Cal Lab.. I fought a Tektronix 577 Curve Tracer for aboot four hours today.. I call it "bull dogging it" when I don't give up on a fault and keep on troubleshooting until I fix it..

Turns out it was contact resistance on the collector power supply polarity selector relay.. I had to take the relay apart and clean the contacts so I would not get drift on the display. I was getting intermittent readings and drift on the crt whenever I'd switch between positive and negative collector voltage, and it was ticking me off.. I first thought it was the selector switch itself until I traced it back to the relay..

Tomorrow I has an HP 85 personal computer to work on.. This computer is from 1980 and we use (well we used to use it until it broke) as an IEEE controller..

When I power it on I get no display and will not load any programs.. I broke out the service manual and started to read aboot troubleshooting tips.. I did not read anythang aboot what I am seeing.. I suspect the power supply.. And more specifically probably a cap that is dried up.. I mean the thing has been used since The Rolling Stones released Tattoo You.. Think aboot how long ago that was.. I was in first grade..

edit due to the matrix glitching..

My wisteria seems to be browning a little, not sure why but my watersprite is starting to grow like a week, its not touching the top of my water and I have I think 3 or 4 new root systems I could cut off to start growing more but I'll let them get bigger first :D

Hey Lovelies!!!

Had an opportunity to look at the hp 85 ieee controller.. turns out there is somethang called a "rom drawer" that holds these little chips that are basically drivers for peripherals such as printers and the like.. something is faulty in that card and is preventing the computer from booting off of bootstrap memory.. If I unplug that that "drawer" the computer will boot up which brings me to my next issue... once the computer boots up it will not load any programs.. Still working on that one.. It appears ti be the loading dewice.. in this case we are using an old hp disk drive.

that is kaaaaa-put..

Had taco bell fer dinner..

Taco Bell for dinner?  Enjoy an evening on the bowl...........

Massive water change for my 36 last Thursday, complete with a large amount of pruning.  The tank is looking more full & lush.  Today it's raining so a good day to do some more water changes & pruning in the other tanks.

Might post some pics later of the progress since I've replanted many of the clippings

My shipment of 5 supreme red cherry shrimp came yesterday and survived the night happily :) the other 30+ cherry/ Sakura mix are coming Wednesday.

Freshwater shrimp?  I thought you had crossed over into the salty side............how's that tank coming along anyway MoF?

I have, but still got 2 freshies :)

It's doing good. Carved a little of the big rock last night and built some window screen for a top.

Happy Sunday Lovelies!

Looks like we're having some good weather here...............at least for today.

Theres two areas of the plant I'm really interested in because they are new growths since I planted it in my tank.  Some of the original parts are browning but these new stalks are growing like a weed which I want :D
