Hey Lovelies!
Hope your wife is ok Hambone! J was sick the past couple of days but he's on the mend again. Hubby starting to sneak bits n pieces of Christmas stuff down from the attic. He wudda had it all up by now if he had his way.

I'm 3 days past my weekly water change. Naughty moi. I'll do it tomorrow.

Its been almost two months, decided today I would clean out my filters with my water change. I found my 4th Kuhli I haven't seen in awhlie I last checked the filter about 2-3 weeks ago but didnt empty them out the past few. Buddy was still alive and I put him with this 3 friends in the 20 gallon with the internal filter

I thought all the bacteria woulda died in my two canisters I picked up out of town since they weren't conneced to running water for a few days, but after an API test sitting at 5ppm when I doused the tank, I checked today and within the week the ammonia looks like its at 0.25, NitrIte is fine, and NitrAtes look decent as well. Looks like the tank is good to go, I'll have to keep feeding it until I can go to fish store out of town when I see a decent deal on guppy/platty

the LFS down the road is moving across town ( boo ) so they're having a 50% off fish sale, I got a new peppered cory for the 20 gallon to replace the one that unfortunately died soon after I started Ich medicine, and I took the 12 Harlequins they had left as well and they're sitting in my new quarantine tank for the next week to make sure they're fine. I've run into trouble in the past with this store, its how my large tank got infected so being double safe this time around.

Was working on the tri-temp rotary handler again today.. I've been wanting for the last week to start troubleshooting this beast, yet my boss dint want me to until today.. So, I find that the chamber that is giving me issue temperature wise was set to use the wrong thermocouple!!!

according to the schematics it should be a t type, yet the temp controller was configured for j..

set the controller to the right sensor type and I appear to be rocking and rolling.. ran out of time today to prove 100% that it's fixed..

Not much to report here. Got the water changes done so happy fishies again.
On a bum note, hubby put the Christmas tree up yesterday. It's still November. It's never been up as early. I'll be sick looking at it by the time Santa comes.

Verd on the skreet is I am booking my sixth trip to Amsterdam tomorrow. Presently looking at leaving April 4th and coming back April 9th..

Five days of canals, Van Gogh museum, Rembrant museum, Vondaal Park, Febo, and I plan on looking at flowers, lots and lots of flowers.. Not sure if you're all aware but The Netherlands is famous for their flower production. Tulips mainly..

No wifey poo this time.. Just me and my best friend..

I had my bachelor party there back in 07.. That was a hoot.. That was the first time there without her.. I stayed up for 38 hours when we first got there.. Not my personal best..

I stayed up for 43 hours July fourth 2003.. That was a long day... things start getting weird after 27-28 hours..

Hambone you naughty boy! Tee hee. You're dead right. Life is short n all dat jazz. Went there some years back with a friend and had some craic. Such a beautiful city with fab shops and of course the seedy side, you'd have to have a look. We hired out bikes and such a laugh we had but saw loads that way.
