Hey Lovelies!

Since my new Elephant Ear Betta won't stop moving I can't get a good picture of him. I've been trying for days, he just seems to love the wide open space of his own 10 gallon tank!

Here's a short video, at the end you can see Zach's new Double Tail in his temporary tank:

They're both beauties! I think yours is a delta tail elephant ear :good:

Here's a couple of bad pictures of Zach's new Double Tail, this guy loves to pose but his temporary home has no light ATM:

Thanks MoF, and yes, I think he's a Elephant Ear Delta Tail too. I think he might be a Super Delta Tail but not quite a Half Moon. The best part is that he was sold as a Delta so he was only $7-8 dollars! Elephant Ear Bettas are $20 at Petco where I bought this guy. Zach's Double Tail was on sale at Petsmart for $9.

Don't you have a Half Moon Betta?

Quit talking about bettas! I can't get one yet!

I want a dragonscale halfmoon or delta...those are my favorites

They had a Dragonscale HM at Petsmart, but I chose the Double Tail for Zach instead. I might still get that Dragon if he's still available after I get my tank divider.

Post some pictures, I don't remember seeing any................

Bad news, guys...

Just did a very extensive cleaning of my 20gal, and I looked everywher, under everything....

Loki is nowhere to be found....I think he may have perished a long time ago.... :-(

That's how we lost our last Black Kuhli, I cleaned the tank out & he was nowhere to be found.

Hey Lovelies!!!

I've been sleeping like carp the last couple days. Yesterday I got up at 4 am, was in a haze all day. I couldn't wake up.. The most awake I was yesterday was between 3 and 6.. That was when I went to BT's Smokehouse...

I got ribs, brisket, mac and cheese, sticky rib tips and andooey bites for free..

I got my wife a large Brunswick Stew, and andooey bites..

one more visit, and the tat will has paid for itself.. I am at 157 dollars worth of free bbq. paid 180 for the tat including tip..

Loki was a kuhli loach, right? Was he poorly?

Sorry, I was very sad when one of my kuhlis broke his spine and died...

He was a kuhli I rescued from my LFS
He was very skinny and didn't look good, I thought some TLC would turn him around...but.... :-(

Crossfire, could a get a group of kuhlis for a 10 gallon tank, or still too small? I wanna turn my qt into a betta house and get 6 kuhlis, some sort of tetra or rasbora. Maybe ember tetras. I'm going to wait and see if I get a 125 gallon for my b-day or Christmas though first.

To be honest MoF, I'd say a 10 gallon would be severely overstocked with a Betta, six Kuhlis & six Tetras or Rasboras. I doubt you'd ever see the Kuhlis anyway since they'd be hiding all the time in such a small tank. That would be a great stocking for a 20 gallon. Believe me, I'd love to do the same with my 10 Gallon Betta tank. Instead I'm going to split the tank with a divider & have two Bettas and maybe some snails.

If you did that plan with a 20 gallon instead, you could easily have 1 Betta, 8-10 Rasboras, 6-8 Kuhlis and even some Malaysian TRumpet Snails. I'd skip the Tetras in favor of the Rasboras since they're generally all from Southeast Asia.
