Hey lovelies! I still have 2 red coral platy fry, my 1 silver and black platy fry and my 12 remaining orange platy fry...

They are really colouring up nicely, the 2 coral platies are bright red with some black scales starting to show! The other 12 are all bright orange, yellow and red (One of them has a black tail! ) and I have another one which is silver and black, gorgeous

I had 14 but one of them died for no apparent reason and the other one... *sigh* I squished it under the filter by accident. I know, I know. I feel so so bad about it and it was over 2 weeks ago

I will take a little video of them! I can't get any good pictures! bah!

Sorry you don't appreciate the song I posted Hambone, but that's why they make so many flavors right?

I have 2 new additions to the Ruskull fish crew, a Dwarf Gouurami and a Paradise Fish! I got the Dwarf a few days ago & he's been chilling out in the 20 high. I tried to add the juvenile Paradise Fish & all hell broke loose. The Dwarf chased at him almost immediately nipping at his tail fin! Needless to say I moved the Paradise Fish to my 36 gallon and he's doing great there believe it or not.

Thanks Crossfire, I plan to move around some of the fish the weekend to make each tank a little more compatible & biotope specific where possible. The 55 will be loosely South American, the 36 will be Southeast Asian and the 20 will be a mixed bag or whatever doesn't work out elsewhere for now.

EDIT How about Bengal or Begali, the latter sounds more exotic..........

I just moved all (8) of the Von Rio Flame Tetras over to the 55 gallon without any problems! Even Skippy, the one that doesn't swim right...........

It all kinda depends on what you have growing in the tank & what fish you have. Some fish don't appreciate bright light and some plants require it...........

Hey Lovelies!!!

Just got back from Zach's Football game & he won 27-7 playing every down on Offense & every kick return. He played Left Guard for first string & Center for second string. They absolutely OWNED the other team's Defensive line..........
