Lost in translation??

Quite ironic that BBC Worldwide videos are blocked in Britain, but hey I've probably seen it.

It's probably lost in translation because you don't get the differences in stereotypes between the two regions of the UK. Turn the Scousers into, say, Rednecks from Alabama visiting NYC, and you can see where the humour is coming from.

Hey Lovelies!!!

Yeah, I had to do some research on what a Scouser was.. I take it they like Carlsberg beer in Liverpool..
oh, and the wife brought home a new Betta fish last night.. I set him up a lil 1 gallon tank with a sponge filter..

1 gallon is a little small

i concur.. currently in negotiations for a 10 gallon (20 liters) tank..

she brought the fish home, i juss did what I had to do..

oh and reading your sig, i think your 20 gallon is a lil overstocked, but notice how I never said anythang??

10 gallons is actually closer to 40 liters I believe.............juss saying.

Hey Lovelies!  Great day in the neighborhood.  Doing pretty good with design & sales at work and the family is doing fine, no complaints.  Going to do sum water changes soon,  first up is the 55 gallon, then the Betta tanks, the 20 then the 36.  Let's see how many I get done before I'm too tired.

Lol, the tank is over stocked by numbers.. but it is a jungle in there.. the bio load is actually not bad because of all the plants and the filtration :) the fish are also different in where they inhabit - not sure my rasboras even know the corys are there.

But I'm glad the tank is under discussion :D

Well if your 20 gallon is over stocked then I'm in trouble!  My 36 gallon is a bit overstocked but I let it grow wild too.  All the plants help keep the nasties in check, those fish are very healthy & happy.

The fact is practically anything bigger than a dixie cup is better than what they keep Bettas in at most local pet stores.  If the new tank happens to have a filter of any kind and maybe even a heater, it's better off than where it was.  Hambone & his wife likely saved that Betta by hooking him up with a better setup then he ever had.

Oh no for sure. No offense meant in any way Hambone!

Hey Lovelies!!!!

I put the new betta into the 37 gallon today because I lost The 10 Gallon War. It lasted aboot 2 minutes before my huge, male, very aggressive to other angel fish, angel fish was on the werge of attacking my poor lil betta.. I had to interwene by hitting my hand against the glass.. I freaked the entire tank out, but stopped the attack..

well I put the lil guy back in his one gallon..

Apparently I am going to buy a 2.5 Gallon Bow Front (5 liter) tank this weekend, so my wife tells me.. She already picked it out.. I juss has to set it up and maintain it, which is cool with me because I got me another tank now! Going to put some cheery skrimps in with him...

Welcome to Rena gang bro, we're the elite fishkeepers who actually look at the specs vs. the price. LOL
I love the Beatles Hammy, especially the obscure songs like the one you posted.

"Once there was a way, to get back home
sleep pretty darling don't you cry, and I will sing a lullabye"

Pure genius

Here's another great song that I'll always love:

This particular video is of some young family moving away for the first time, to a new life.  I can relate.  I lived my first 30+ years in Long Island NY, and we just sold our house, picked up and moved our small family to a new life in North Carolina.  See if you can relate, I sure can:
