We finally netted the BN Pleco in the 55 gallon!  He's been terrorizing the Corries in that tank.  My father's over for Easter dinner and he'll take him hom,e to one of his tanks..........................

We added (12) Bandit Corries, (2) Emerald Corries & (1) Albino to my son's 55 gallon.  So far they seem to be doing well.

so the 55 gallon has been taken down and searching for a buyer.

I'm hitting amazingly in baseball at the moment just barely missed a home run in my game today but my pitching ability has just completely gone. haven't gotten through an inning my last 3 appearances with under 5 runs scored against me need to work and try and get something fixed or else just give up on pitching which is last resort.

Does anyone know if the harder you punch your keyboard the better your data will be??
 
A few weeks ago I was collecting test equipment from the electronic engineers that I support, and there is always this one particular engineer who is very hard on his equipment.. Meaning he has no problem slamming a meter with 200 VAC @ 12 amps. I dont know of any DMM that can handle 100 watts(RMS) or so repeatedly.. So, let's put it this way, I am surprised when his test equipment is within spec..
 
He blew up an HP 3565 DMM a couple weeks ago. The range select would not work on all the functions.. Today I fixed it.. I still have an o-scope of his to fix.. That will be next week I guess...

Apparently I added too many fish to the 55 gallon tank all at once & the pH dropped substantially.  Fortunately the ammonia & nitrites are fine though.  
 
My tap water starts out at 7.2 and after a week all tanks usually read about 6.6.  That 55 gallon was reading 6.0 though and it had me worried since the Rainbows prefer a slightly higher alkaline pH.  So I added a fairly large coral skeleton which raised the pH to 6.4 and added crushed sea shells to the canister filter and now the pH is 7.0-7.2 or so.

Big doings today!! New fried chicken place opened in town.. The wife is presently out taking our daughter to ballet class.. After class she is stopping by and picking me up a five piece box with cheesy fries and mac and cheese and our kid is getting nuggets..
