Yes but Milner was working hard and has confidence, Young looked scared to touch the ball lol.

But is it worth it when he hands the ball back everytime he gets it, it was only sweden, we should be able to play more attacking or we have no chance, were gonna get Spain in the next round, he could play then but should not be playing atm in my opinion

I'm not an England fan, I didn't want them to win for many reasons but the main one being that if England win at anything they don't stop going on about it.

That being said, England has some amazing players and well done to Stevie G who played his heart out IMO. Of course they got further than Ireland, but that's because we're pure #105###e and everyone knows it.
I hate to see penalties decide any match, there is no real skill involved in penalties, my Granny could score and she can hardly walk, its not like running round a pitch, beating the defence and scoring, as you could see from some of the goals tonight it was more like a 'hit and hope' method that some of the players were using.

Anyways, the Germans are strong and I hope they show their full potential when they're playing.

No! Obviously England would have been the easier opponent (4-1 two years ago is all I have to say ) but I see it this way. Italy had many chances playing against a weaker team (and come one, you must admit, they were much weaker) but they didn't manage to score a goal. Germany was up against Greece who had a truly good defence going on and they still managed to get four goals in. So, when Germany plays against Italy I am sure we can beat them. And then I can scream FINALEEEEEEE!

Well, it's good to read that others are supporting Germany too. I know I am patriotic when it comes to football. But it's not just that they are playing for my home country, but also the fact that they ARE the best team so far, so I really think we got a good shot at it this year. Germany Spain or Portual, either would be fab. Can't wait for the final
