The Best Of Aquabid

I would be tempted to bid on one, but the whole transhipper thing confuses me.. and sounds expensive :p rofl

It is expensive, lol, but IMO totally worth it. The USA just doesn't bettas of the same quality as thailand.

Wow.. these fins look insane

Who's the seller? I'm so getting him... maybe

Yeah... but the whole transhipper thing... I wanna know how much THEY charge you lol.

For every fish you buy you pay an extra $5 transshipping fee to get the fish via aircargo from asia to the USA, so for a $5 fish you're really paying $10. Once they get to their designated location you then have to pay the transshipper boarding fees, box fees shipping fees etc. So you're looking at 2 payments total. I got in 6 fish from thailand once, for the fish and to get them over here was $124, and then I paid $54 in boarding and shipping fees to get them to me.

Yah, it's actually not much more expensive than buying from a US breeder. It's the cost of the fish, plus $8 per fish for shipping to the US and handling/import fees, and then shipping from the transhipper to you. So really, tag on an extra $8 per fish and that's the only price difference. PM me if you ever decide to take the plunge, I'd be glad to explain things more and help you out. :)

Does this betta have an extra short body, or was it taken at just the right moment when it was swimming to make it appear all squirty heh
