1) are all of those different colours really natural?
2) is there anything like aquabid available in the UK?
The reason why I ask both of these questions is that all I can find so far (on & offline) are the Siamese fighters (blue/red).

None are 'engineered' unless you are talking about hybridization with 'wild' betta species (which isn't what I'd call 'engineering').No they arent natural, they are bred and in some cases engineered to be those colours.
The coloration of these bettas is about as 'natural' as the different colors you get in domestic dogs or cats - natural in the sense that they occur naturaly but unatural in the sense that people breed them, selecting the nicest colors from each spawn, to breed even more.
