Cryosi - there is not a bad fish shop about twenty minutes walk from Leicester Square in Great Portland Street
Got quite a nice selection but the shop is a bit on the small side.....
London Aquarium sounds like a great idea - I have only been once
but it was great. I have been meaning to go again for some time. It would make a nice easy place to congregate and then it is not too far to take a stroll past the London Eye, over Hungerford Bridge and up to Trafalgar Square and the West End.
CFC - August would be a bad time for this. All of the tourist attractions will be really busy and a lot of places have really poor air-con. Also a lot of people will be away on their holidays during August. I would suggest either early to mid July (or before) or leave it into September when the schools are back. Given that a lot of people on here are working/studying it is likely that we would have to make it a Saturday or Sunday and these will always be the busiest times.
