I'll get back to you Trev. Eheim Substrat Pro and Eheim mech is not new, but has been boiled beyond belief. Eheim Mech pro, siporax and the TetraTec media is brand new (apart from two Tetra sponges as specified).

Well good buddy !!! Think we have been down this road b4. used underpants Ive been told do not go near media which has been used in a MARINE TANK. Now l know your's was tropical ? Please tell me if it was marine. I need 6lts of the stuff to go in a eheim 2229 wet dry filter recently bought from Vicky n Kev. See l do buy things (sometimes). I really need to spk to someone in the trade who can give me some reassurance on this matter. Will tell you by Thursday if lm up 4 it. Is there any chance in you can weigh the tetra media and do you think i can get the tetra sponges to fit the ehiem ?? Thanks Trev. Ps you say you also have some new eheim Mech pro ? If yes put my name on it, Im sure we can work out a price which makes us both as l say if i can use it i will take it. Trev

Trev, I seriously don't know what you are talking about in terms of your comments. I haven't been down any road with you, and as far as I know, I have had no dealings OR potential dealings with you. Are you sure you are not confusing me with someone else? Seriously, Trev, I think you're wrong on this one.

I bought the media Eheim Substrat Pro and Mech second hand. I do not know if it came from a marine tank. All I can say is that I am using a large quantity of it in my filter and have had no ill effects at all, all my fish are happy and healthy. It has been boiled extensively. But I cannot guarantee it wasn't used in a Marine tank. What would be the issue if it had though out of curiosity?

I'll get the quantities of the Tetra Media in a moment, the bio balls are very lite though so I'll give you it all in litres. Would you like the siporax measured too? I think the Eheim Mech Pro is 1 litre but will make sure, this too is obviously very lite with it being made of plastic.

ps. the wool/sponge will probably fit no problem. If it is too big, you can cut it, and if it is too small you can just put other media around it (like I have done with my new filter). But if you want to give the measurements of your cannister than I will measure the wool/spnge for you.

Thanks for the heater recieved it today. Surprisingly, it's the same as the 1 i have in my 12gal tank same brand and everything so i don't have to work out how to set the temp on it cause i already know.
