Hey guys, i've bought a test kit, and it has a color chart, but its kinda hard for me to tell which color the water gets, usually two color look the same .. is there like an exact test kits?

I think I have the same kit like yours very hard to read..API kit

Just try your best to figure out. After two three readings you will be able to undestand better the different colors but I think Thy should come up with the different chart than this.

Are you using dip stick style test kits or liquid kits?

You just get better with practise I'm afraid. Also make sure you look at your tests in a bright room, preferably in natural sunlight. I tend to hold the colour chart right behind the test tube, then hold both of these in front of white paper or a white wall.

My LFs showed me a pretty good technique - by placing the glass over the colour chart and looking through the water to see the likeness to each colour. I figure if you can't see the colour on the chart, that's the colour of the water. Seems to work with mine.

Its liquid, ill try those methods.
