thats just crazy man one i dont like bio wheels on salt water in time they just reproduce nitrates they are nitrate factorys little tanks are for more experinced aquartist it is easyer to spend the money on a bigger tank and if the person does not want to make a big investment salt water is not for him or her any way..and on another note in the pic they had a yellow tang in a 6 gal. tank that is just sad i would not put any thing in that little of a tank they could live but not be very happy one or two inverts maybe like hermits or something like that but thats all hell i would not even use that as a refugium that article is crazy and who ever wrote it does not know a lot about salt water

Ah, guys I hate to tell you this, but thats the tank I set my neighor up with. We added another power head and he does water changes every two weeks with water out of my reef tank. He has 3 damsels, an arrow crab, hermitts, and snails.
They also make a 12 gallon and I have seen corals thrive in them. Infact, I am going to get some colt coral that has been over taking the 12 gallon tank. I don't think that the photo on the link is real, but its not a bad little tank. They do seem to work well.

sorry ram, but a tang in a 6g, with sand and live rock none the less, = no NO FIII WAY! That is beyond not right.

Dont be sorry, I agree that putting a tang in that tank is just stupid. It works great for coral only or for small fish.
