Yes, that looks like an otocinclus. Excellent algae eaters, but they generally like to be in bigger groups. A shame, but I've found that adding more otos to a tank that already has one isn't a good idea, so this guy is on his own.

Blimey, do I need to go to Specsavers, then? I can't tell either way from those photos, way too blurry.
 
ooh are they? they look right way up here very sorry i am very new first thread! so 3female platys are they a certain kind of platy or just a platy thank you all for all your help very kind and welcoming x
we have 2algae eaters in there an they are very quick will try get better pics of platys they are camera shy lol x
 
Yep even your profile pic is upside down to me :)
 
The white platy is a mickey mouse - I think it's female only because I can't see a gonopodium but a clearer photo would help.
The red platy is definitely female.
The sunset (orange & white) platy is very hard to tell but looks female.  You're looking for a triangular anal fin, that's female, if the anal fin is shaped like a stick then it's male :)
