Tank Redo....

Yer i like it, id have been happier if id had enough Vallis to finish the rear of the tank in one sitting rather than stressing the fish out twice when i add the rest :/

Thanks all, nice to see others appreciate it, the wife and kids were like, "oh you moved stuff about" grumble!!!Ive ordered more Vallis for the gap at the rear, once in ill post a few updated pics.....then its time to break out the CO2 and figure out how to get it working without killing everything lol

Does she need to know? Some companys can build a tank in a few hours.E.g when she is at work ;)

hmmm, i think she would notice it lol....although once its in.....would she spend time removing it lmao.....The 110 will be nearer end of year early next though tbh, once we get house sorted out...and the 360 Elite, Mac Book, New TV etc...all the essentials lol

Essentials lol, true though :shifty:

And yeah, she'll not bother moving it once it's in :good:

I'll be waiting for the build/setup thread lol

That's the worst part about doing a planted tank, having to sort all the plants out until you get it right. I was forever moving plants about, so much so that it stopped bothering the fish in the end.

Hehe,

tbh the Plecs and Killies basically swam into the net, the coolies on the other hand  ive never seen fish move that fast before *the expletives were rather prevalent*

Ive ordered more Vallis so that should be here Tue/Wed and ill plant it that night, just need some weights for it and we will be off. Next thing is bulbs, im currently using one stock Juwel bulb and an Arcadia Original Tropical pink bulb. Im not liking the Juwel bulb.

Lol. Don't talk to me about Coolies, tried catching 5 for a customer the other day. 10 minutes later and sore jaw from gritting my teeth.....
You'll have to post more pics when you get the Vallis although your tank is looking great as it is!;)

Yer will do.

Oh crap, tank light is still on...forgot about that...o well

Hehe the 2 BN's are sharing Courgette and the Clown Plec and L387 are sharing the other bit  so cute, wish i had a decent working camera that could take night shots :(

just a little biased :p

2 are doing alright, although one started to "fit" for about 2 minutes, but seems fine now.

It's going to be a cherry shrimp tank, with 3 pitbulls, and a bamboo shrimp (already got too)
It's got java moss in there too and alot of mts.

I just need to get the shrimp

Sounds like a nice set up Maximus. I hope your Pitbull is alright, may just be settling in.

Ive got a few pics of him..... (L387)

Thats the little fellow, I got him as a Clown Plec so cost me about 7quid, what a bargain. He is about half the size of my Clown Plec. Those two images are about a month old, he has much darker stripes and spots now and is a rather stunning little fellow. Unfortunately I dont see him that often :(
