tail cutting

ive heard of tail cutting for tail rot and i want to use it as a last resort but this just wont clear up ive tried everything how do you do it
 
First off - what have you tried?
Do you have any pictures of it?

Tailcutting is an ABSOLUUUUUUUTELY last resort...
 
yes ive tried extra clean water and marycen 2 i know that there are more meds out there but i have no money of time its almost at the body

I believe tail cutting is generally referring to males with excessive finnage. If you were to trim a females tail it could prove to be very,very difficult -_- There's just not a lot of finnage to work with, not to mention that a portion has already rotted away -_-

Can you get a closer image of the trouble spot?
 
uhhhm, there's really nothing left to trim. Can you go get some methylene blue?
If not, maybe you can go beg your lfs for a quarter teaspoon (teaspoon if you're so lucky) to mix up some tonic water for her.
 
Try adding some aquarium salt or try a different brand of med as you may have a desease resitant strain, also keeping top notch water quality will help.
 
betta fix. or 1/5 of a dose of melafix. I've been told it's the same thing. It should work wonders.
