I found a tadpole in our pod after trying to get some of the sloppy green stuff out. He is currently in a jar with some oxgyen going into the jar. I was wondering how to bring him up as I would like to see him go through his stages... He already has a little bit of back legs... What would I feed him etc...

Infusoria, brine shrimp, black worms, meal worms, crushed flake and daphnia will be good food sources.

When he does turn fully into a frog I will be returning him into the pond which i found him... But how long has it got if he has just started growing back legs... and would he be alright in a small tropical tank or not ?

So whats a good size for the little feller to go in ?

I have a 4G tank if thats any good...

Difficult to say as they feed on micro-organisms I would throw some elodea free floating or riccia in the tank and a 4 gallon should be fine. A sponge filter would be needed but it doesn't need a heater.

Okay thank you... (Do they need any plants or sand/gravel etc ?)

Okay sorry didnt relise they were plants... I dont know all the names of plants etc

Indeed but google does, would be nice if you actually did further reading from what I am saying ;)

Well thank you but i havent really had time lately... Will be in a min though :(

The tadpole found a way out the jar (Even though there was a lid on the jar) and he jumped out the dried out :(

Better luck next time I suppose

Very well saying all that... I just wanted to see it go from a little tadpole to a frog thats all... Cant a child do that now adays ?
