Oooh, T1's really getting stroppy now
reminds me of a little toddler I share my home with.
Again, someone who is posting and bandwagoning when they have no idea about anything going on here, another troll post.

Lol not really.
I never said my way was the only way.

But Jen did, and you didn't add anything more than a troll post to my topic.
You do seem rather 'strong' in your way
I am strong in my way, because it as worked for me for years and years now. However I don't throw mine out as the only way possible.
But Jen did, and you didn't add anything more than a troll post to my topic.
Was just stating my feelings which I am entitled to do AND if you are in fact the bigger person you need not have re-acted.
You really shouldn't state your feelings in such an offtopic-trolling manner. If I don't react I let another person get away with bashing me and thus making my way of fish keeping (which is perfectly fine) look bad.

did i really, i asked you a question actually lol, again if you read not once did i say my way was the only way lol... i asked about the hardier fish etc etc... and said your comments were flawed lol.... and your started trheaterning lol.. which i did find very funny, thanks for making me smile pmsl
No, you said you where reporting me and claiming I was a bad keeper despite not knowing anything about my background or my fish.
Sorry m8 but youve got a thread going asking about ammonia lol, then you have stated how overstocking is good not only in a thread but at some pint in your sig aswell... and then while trying to get ammonia down which again youve said you carnt .. youve added another fish or more ... to me thats bad fish keeping lol... if you want to classed as a good fish keeper by not only me but i would say probably 80% of this forum then get the conditions right in your tank before adding more fish.
You say your getting fish to feed your lizard, fair enough( i still dont agree with it you could buy dead from the local fish monger), but your choice to do it so i dont have a disagreement there, what i do disgaree with is your blanatant immature abuse and threats and thats the only reason im still here... as you said your self defend!!
Oh just just to back up the imaturaty youve even made a comment against me in your sig lol
I asked about ammonia because it rose to 3-4 ppm at one point and wasn't going down with water changes and I thought that was the cause for my fish behaving a certain way, but in experimenting it was the currents and not the ammonia. I said overstocking was good because with these fish overstocking must be done to curb aggression. I didn't add fish, I replaced fish, took out sunfish and put them in the pool and changed up the overall makeup of the aquarium. I didn't have a holding tank so I put them there until the pool was done, and I'm moving 3 more out tomorrow. I've lost fish in the end, not adding more, and the ammonia has gone down. I also don't are if 80% of this forum says get the conditions right first. I don't have all summer for these fish, and I'm taking them from a worse environment, these are not tropicals so I don't care what 80% says.
I know I could buy fish from the local fish monger, but do you have any idea how much it would cost me rather than putting in a little time and catching my own? The comment in my sig is for lulz, and it worked!
I don't believe in catching fish then keeping them in aquariums. I'm not ging to jump you on it though. Oh and nelly has a LOT on you. Nelly would pwn you in a war.
A lot of tropical fish are caught at some point from ponds, lakes, rivers for the pet trade. The native fish trade is still a small one, just coming in now, for awhile they will have to be taken from ponds/lakes/rivers until the hobby becomes more established like the tropical community is. I know nelly would but the title was for lulz, because nelly is a boss.
If you didn't want people to react to what you said you should have explained your theories in the first place, of course you will get a reaction on a fishforum when you are blatantly harming fish, just because they're feeders..
I do agree somewhat that fish can withstand low levels of ammonia for short periods, I have done many fish in cycles..But I believe exposure to ammonia seriously shortens their live span and could lead to other health problems.
I have, in many many threads, short of copying and pasting something to every post I make, which I can't do. People need to learn they don't know everything and when to butt out.
do i get the feeling people just dont agree with you t1? but yet you still think you know best lol...... you say many years of fishkeeping but yet how many people have disagreed with you with probably a combined knowledge of well over 30 times you age never mind your expereicne lol
These people don't keep natives, thus I don't care if they agree with me? BING I could care less I was sharing fish I keep with other fish keepers, not asking for advice on how to keep my tank, because you could get a million tropical keepers telling me I'm wrong, doesn't mean I will ever agree or listen, because they aren't tropicals.
