We have had some very confusing symptoms among our fish over the last few days which has now resulted in two seemingly unrelated deaths  . I have searched here endlessly for anything that may cover all the symptoms seen and am now very confused! :/
I'll try & keep story short as I can. Basically a week ago all molly's (3 black, 3 silver & 3 sunset) & tiger barbs (3) had varying degrees of swollen belly. Seemed healthy otherwise so cut back feeding & this improved in all but 1 tiger barb.
Then the black molly's got puffy eyes & we thought we had pop eye. Did about 20% water change & the next morning they seemed much improved.
Yesterday afternoon noticed that one of panda cory's (we had 5) was v unwell, kept trying to swim down but justed floated back to the top & bobbed either on side or upside down until he tried again. Thought this could be swim bladder problem but by 10pm he had died.
Around the same time 1 of the black molly's became very lethargic & just sat quietly at the bottom. She was eating OK so left her to sleep overnight & she seemed to have perked up a bit this morning. However sadly I got home this evening to find her dead & am now really worried it could be dropsy. Her scales were slightly puffed but not sure if this could have been just from lying in the water since she died.
Sorry this is such a long posting! If anyone has any advice I'd really appreciate it. We only bought these fish a couple of months ago so will be devastated if we lose them all 1 by 1. I know it may seem a lot of fish for size of tank but they are all still small & we get larger tank at Xmas.
I don't know water details as they are my daughters fish, she is away 2nite & I don't know how to test.
Please help!!

It would be very useful to know the water parameters like ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, at least. Testing shouldn't be that difficult. If you have the tests handy, look for directions, and do them. If there is any sign of ammonia or nitrites, that might explain at least a part of the problem.
