Gary are you able to give Benson a time scale - when might your friend be back? Benson, you will end up not getting the top if you don't play nice, it is understandable to be frustrated but it seems like Gary is as frustrated because he can't help you until his friend is back!

How about taking this off the forums and pm each other?

Its like i said i really dont no when hes back or what!! he was decent of my mate to sort it to be lifted to covnetry!!!

I dont mind pming but long as i dont get 50 pm s aday!! i cant do no more till hes back or ring me if he can ?

Yes mate, got it all plumbed in now and did a test run, everything seems fine got my weir in place aswel. Need to get this stand painted and start getting my lighting in place! It's coming along slowly mate

You have not contacted me at all! the lid is now back in my shed! as the guy was fed up with it in the way at his house!

I did ship it over but then you didnt contact me ! and im not wanting you to come to my house as i dont trust you!

It was not my place to contact you, you told me that you were waiting for an address from your friend so i could go and pick it up.

I requested an update over a month ago and you ignored it, then decide to inform me that you have now taken it back to your house. So when you got the address, why did you not tell me?

Fine, you dont trust me to pick it up (not my place to be picking it up anyway considering you screwed up by not bringing it in the first place) so the only other option is for you to ship the lid to me via a proper postal service so that it is delivered to my house, rather than a house in coventry that you dont know the address of.

Do you need my address again? When can i expect delivery?

(for the mods, i am doing my best not to be arsey and am trying to resolve this amicably, please dont jump on me for this thread, all i want is resolution!)

i really cant be botherd with this!! i tryed my best to get it over and help you out! its not my fault i lost the internet and couldnt contact you! ill ship the item when you pay for shipping cost! i am not paying for it to be shipped over! i drove all the way and dilverd the tank yes i forgot the lid but my mate got his mate to take it over! again not my fault i lost the internet and could not contact you!

Look mate i cant be arsed with all of this either i just want what i payed for. Im not a dis-trustworthy person and have done nothing (but get frustrated with this scenario) to warrent being un-trusted. Can we just come to some compromise please?

With a view to getting this finally sorted, i will agree to pay half of the postage costs. I think this is fair considering i paid for somethign i didnt get, and covered your petrol for delivery in the first place so i see it as a fair offer to pay half the shipping. I am quite happy to arrange for a courier to come and collect the lid so no further effort from your part is required and you will not have to worry about me collecting it then (not that there is anythign to worry about i just meant you said you didnt trust me)

Can we please just get this sorted and i will leave you alone for good i promise. Lets just drop all the moaning and attitude towards each other and arrange to get this resolved so we can both get on with our hobby and enjoy it!
