"special Needs" Fish?

I have a Figure 8 puffer and a violet goby in a tank. The violet goby only has 1 eye, which is bad b/c the have poor eyesight to begin with. So every meal time, I have to feed the puffer, get him looking in a different direction, drop in the goby's food, and sit there and scare the puffer away for a long time until the goby finds it. I think my dog and cat get jealous.
