I saw this in the normal thread too. I like the tank, Spankone. The plants look robust and healthy.

nothing like digging out an old thread..... i wish i left the tank alone and didnt listen to my girlfriend jen but i did. she started moaning about the swords so i ripped them out

how it looked about 5 weeks ago before my hols

it started to anoy me looking like this so i changed it

shouldnt look to bad once its filled out

i've been using the laminated sheet for ages it tells me what firts to add each day very clever but now i've hole punched and and hang it of an old sucker so its out the way but still easy to read

also used old suckers to hang up some of my tools

and added the shut of valve straight to the needle valve insted of using co2 hose and a metal bar to hang the whole lot from

Are you still going high-tech with this little guy? I tried briefly with my 2.5g, but then I got a job, so out came the CO2, dosing, and the extra light, and I am content with my hardy low-light jungle for now. Your tank looks good from what I can tell, though the haigrass is a bit bunchy and I don't think you have enough plants, but what do I know? You just seemed so pitiful with your "any one?".

lol @ pitiful im sorry but i was desperate for peoples thoughts after my redo..... yeh its still hi-tech and its not ramed with plants but i was going to wait for it to fill out before i add more i made the mistake last time of adding loads then having no room left for the fish to swim he looked cramped... i was thinking of having a few different types of crypts along the front may be some water lettice might squeez in a small anbais
