Spankone's Second/third Or Fourth Crack At A Nano

Looking good, once the HC has covered the foreground it should look fantastic.
Maybe you should have split it up into smaller peices to gain a better coverage.

cheers guys i;ve now split the hc up a bit more and well i had an accident if you can call it that... i pulled a plant up to remove its weight a few days a go and even though i kept pushing it back into the substrate it kept poping up only a little mind because it had some roots still in the ground. so i pulled it out today to try and plant i properly turns out the roots where longer then i thought and i pulled out half the tank with it. so i thought sod it and pulled out every thing and trimed cut and propergated every thing in site, looks ok apart from the esha 2000 that i've added has clouded the water

Is the water clear enough for picces now?I hope you havn't upset the plants doing that :fun:

still cloudy dude because of the esha 2000 im going to complete the course then do a water change

it looked so much better before but no i had to touch it didnt i

Have you considered a background for the tank? A black one would really bring out the colours of the plants and the fish....

aqua essentials sells the lesser version that has no gagues for £99 so i think i've got a deal. i know thats their is cheaper systems out there for sale but this is so small and compact and easy to use, and acording to hydors website this set at 4 bubbles a minute should last nearly 6 months. we'll have to see how it goes

oh and a drop checker

That CO2 kit should really help; though I grew all my plants with the simple, inexpencive Nutrafin kit... (but if I did have the money then I would have deffinately bought a better kit (like the one you have...)

Cheers...

I'm actually thinking about getting one similar to your CO2 kit, I'm becoming more serious about planted tanks, so eventually I will need to get a pressurised system, the nutrafin kits wont suffice.
