plants are giant vallis cork screw valls amazon swords and hava moss the idea of the giant vallis is to grow central and forwards across the water to give finley my betta a place to bubble nest and its working already :good:

hey looking good so far dude,
but its lacking a bit of foreground plants, lots of background for sure, but somthing in the front would look nice aswell. possiably hairgrass or somthing i would say?

Reeeeeally good, so much better than the hex. How about crypts for some variety, and DIY CO2, both would be great for your tank!

Tank looks great!

As nicklfire said, I think some foreground plants would look good. A nice backgroun would look good too.

im thinking of java mossing the whole of the foreground not sure yet though but i think your right it neeeds something. a couple of crypts would be cool to.

@Sibelius it has co2 dude the lader is dead center

If you looking for a carpet plant i dont know if java moss is your best option. I got tons of java moss in my tank but... on the driftwood it stays. It can just get so out of control if you dont clip it often enough. If your looking for a carpet effect then maybe go like dwarf hairgrass or somthing... Just an idea.

I think you are right to change tanks. IMO the tank should be as unobtrusive as possible. It is all about what is going on inside.

Your stone arrangement looks a little too manufactured for my tastes, but a nice carpet should blend it in. How about HC or Glosso, as Java Moss can look a bit tatty as a carpet.

Dave.

sorry can i have the full names of the above. so i can do some research

Hemianthus Calitrichoides and Glossostigma Elatinoides. Both are very popular and available.

ok good suggestion i'll order some soon hc soon my only worry is firts as i dont know what im doing is there an all in one i can add to the tank and when should i start adding it,

I just added HC to my nano and after a week and a half it's almost covered the foreground. It should work well with your tank.
