Hey there Fish Forums..

I started out a couple of years ago when I got a small tank for Christmas I think it was.. and had alright success until, as most 15 year olds do, I lost interest and the fish I had just kinda died..

I had 3 Sword Tails, and happened to have some fry a couple days after introducing the fish to my tank..

These lasted quite a while..

Anyway, I found my tank about 2 months ago.. and thought I'd give it another crack.. Now i'm more responsible and all..

I got 3 Gold Pristella Tetras to start with in this small tank...

Now.. a couple weeks ago, I got a 70 Litre tank, and set it up with everything.. and got the cycle going..

Now i'm wondering, as I have moved my Tetras to the new tank.. would it be smart of me to put the filter from the old tank into the new tank?? For the bacteria purposes??
the old tank is just sitting there at the moment.. Might put something in it at some point.. but for the moment its fine..

Oh and also.. What would be some good companions for my tetras?? Thanks for the guidance ive gotten just by reading here.. :D

Moving an already cycled filter to an uncycled tank would be ideal. Just be careful and add new fish slowly enough to avoid a mini cycle.

Almost forgot... Welcome to TFF!
