Many of these pics are pearoasts, but since so many people never visit the downstairs brigade, I feel it is justified.

I use both my Fuji Finepix F31 and the wife's Nikon D80. I am better with the Fuji (as I use it for diving too) but the extra quality of the SLR does shine through.

Most of the best shots are from the Nikon on a tripod taking about 20 shots either side of one that is any good. I get quality through quantity :D

If you really want to know which was taken by what camera, look at the image's name. If it is DSC_* then it is the Nikon. If it is DSCF then it is the Fuji.

Me too mate. If you look at my biotope thread on here - that's about 100 shots to get those...

I'm a Canon man now. The D80 is nice though.

Cool video BTW. That's some swimming action!

great shots, and lovely fish....as usual im left thinking i would really love a Frogfish myself :)

Im also a D80 user, it was a throw up between the Eos 400d, the main decider was the extra functions the D80 has and how it felt :)

thats amazing andy :good: great job there. btw whats the first moray in the first picture called? i've never seen a white one before
