Snow Storm

Hope everyone in the New England area is staying safe in this storm. Hubby and I made the mistake of coming into work today.

Here is NJ we were supposed to get a few inches. It rained all night so none of the snow is sticking. Its just a wet mess.

Fair. My parents are in Pennsylvania and I'm sure they've only gotten rain as well. I haven't called them yet. I plan on calling them once I'm home from work so they don't worry.

It was a mess. I had to cancel playing poker due to the snow. We have not played since last Oct.

Clearing the driveway, which is my job, was no fun. Damp snow tends to clog snow throwers. So you have to go super slow to reduce the number of times you have to clear the intake or throw a shear pin. Only one this time....

I even had to cancel sending out fish......

We are getting snow and rain mixed, since we are smack on the coast and the sea moderates everything but the wind. It felt like the house was going to fly off to Maine last night. It was a solid nor'easter, wind wise. . A few km inland and they will apparently get a lot of snow. You can't see much with the heavy fall, but it's mostly melting and not accumulating.

The patterns are strange. Way down south in NY and Boston, they get snow. Farther north, we have been getting less.

I think we finally ended up with maybe two feet of snow. We live closer to the Berkshires in Massachusetts. Hubby had to snow blow when we got home and this morning.
But I'm glad anyone that was in the path of the storm is safe!
